Strength:

Good midrange, nice treble

Weakness:

Not much bass - but that is what a sub is for. Can't be hung on the wall. That's about it.

My wife asked me to get smaller speakers to free up space in the living room. Coming from PSB Image 6t's, it was a tall order to fill. With a recent remodeling of my house, I was also on a tight budget. I found these speakers online for $49. $49 !?! for Polk speakers? I couldn't believe it - surely they can't sound that good at that price, but Polk has a decent reputation. I decided to give them a try - heck, I have hardly anything to lose at $50.

I hooked them up and was pleasently surprised - good midrange and nice sounding highs. They also blend seamlessly with my sub. I think I would had to have spent 4-5x more to for anything that might sound marginally better (subjectively).
