Strength:

Great Speakers for the price at least at the time of purchase.

I use five PC-3's for my surround system for several years now. Having been an Audio sales person for 5 years I have listened to many of the finest speakers in the market place. I use a 5 channel B&K amp rated at 200 watts channel and the sound is better than any system I have ever listened to. The speakers soften the some times bright imaging you get from B&K. The sound is perfectly match and even the slightest detail from the rear channels are clear and precise.

Music is where these speaker are at their best the imaging is very good. At times listening to Nora Jones you would think she was in the room singing to you alone. hey that's not a bad thought.

If you can find a pair or better yet 5 of them give them a try. I also own a pair of Sonus Faber Concerto's and the PC-3's give them a run for their money with music.

Strength:

Well made oak pleasing to the eye, At home with rock, opera jazz, and home theater.

Weakness:

If you want that FAT bottom sound you will need a subwoofer. 6 ohm so matching up to tube is not exact but 4 ohm tap seems to work well.

I was looking for a set of speakers to go with a dynaco amp. These speakers
have a real presence to them not found in a lot of other speakers. Heavy cabs
well designed 3 1/2 way with good clarity without harshness. Very tight bass
down to about a real 50 hz.
