I use these speakers with a 50watt per channel Yamaha receiver.Very pleased and happy with the Klipsch rb-61 speaker. Very open, detailed sound, especially with jazz and classical music. The highs and lows sound natural and balanced.. no distortion from the speaker itself.Bass is tight and crisp, and the horns really do disperse the highs all over the room. These speakers are also efficient-- I only use 15% of amplifier power, and the speakers get quite loud. Forget about buying other speakers, these are very good indeed, period.

I love this speaker for it's dynamic/ 95 db, so I can pair it with small ampl like Jolid JD102B with EL84 tube, but don't play it with powerful amp like Primaluna Proloque 2. It will be irritating when listening. The sound also wonderful when pairing with vintage amp like Sansui AU717, just love it.
