Strength:

I love the quality of the sound of these speakers. I've been using them for listening to the music and now considering to reuse them for a home theatre system.

Weakness:

None I have found so far.

Strength:

Good bass for its size considering that it only has a six inch woofer. Very good imaging. Even dispersion. Every instrument is clearly heard. Easy to drive with a 100 watt per channel receiver. I expected it to be bright or shrill because it has two tweeters, but it was smooth and had lots of "air" in its extreme highs. Bass is very clear, and every low note is distinct. Does not sound boomy or muddy in the bass at all. It can be bi-amped. It can play very loud before distortion becomes noticeable. Clean sound at all volumes. The ES30 looks more elegant than most speakers in its price range.

Weakness:

Really a two way speaker with a super tweeter. A subwoofer would be good to have for a fuller sound, and for people who want to feel explosions in movies.
