Amazing little speakers. Used in a 20x20 room, they are good enough to use as a stereo system, by themselves. Adding a Rel T2 subwoofer makes them a near flawless system. Tried various speaker cables, and they worked best with Audioquest Type 4. They're loud enough to get the police at your door. Played Stanley Clarke, "School Days" at full tilt, and they were superb. Vocals, like Norah Jones, Diana Krall, Michael Buble, were terrific! Originally purchased as back wall surround speaker, but they"re way too good for that. Bought Vanus, cherrywood 24' stands, and they sound great. I'll use them in front with Martin Logan ESL speakers, and forget about "surround" system My 5 channel "stereo", is better than surround..
