Strength:

These speakers are built very well. Cabinets are solid and seem very inert. They sound phenomenal. Enjoy jazz, classical, and soft rock. I am not into rap or metal so I cannot help as to how they sound with those types of music. They do sound good alone, but a subwoofer truly makes them shine. Amazing. punchy mid-bass and they plume 65 Hz. I am crossing my 10" sub at 80 Hz. It seems to blend the entire musical spectrum very nicely. Sadly, Klipsch has purchased Energy Speakers so whether they will continue the brand is questionable. New Egg was blowing these out at $106.00 a pair! An absolute steal at that price!

Weakness:

So why did I take off a star? Fair question. When pushed very hard, the highs can become a touch grainy. I have played some very complex blues and noticed they sounded a bit congested, muddled at high volume levels. I cannot give them an across the board 5. Still, this is a fine loudspeaker. It does have some limitations (what speaker doesn't?). That being said, at $200.00 a pair, they were a bargain. At the price I paid, a steal!
