I haven't seen any Review's of Dali concept 1 so i am making my own.

The concept series is the cheapest of dali's normal speakers, concept 1 has a 1" tweeter and a 5" bas midrange unit, the speakers cost fra 200 and up to about 1060 euros (2 speakers) for the biggest one with 2x 10 " big subwoofers (a good alternativ to cv max spl is 114 db) The smallest concept 1 has good clean sound, with lots of power to be used as a main speaker with the dali concep subwoofer (about 500 euros) or as a rear speaker in a sourround sound system, even if you have 100watts pr channel it will just play music as long as you dont make the amplifier distort and more power isnt a problem but from any 50watts pr channel amplifier you get a lot of godt and loud music (87db with 1 watt, max spl is 106db, mabye even more then 106db).

Concept needs 1 a bost at under 100hz or a subwoofer,because the sound can be a bit slim(only 5 " unit
-3db 62.5hz),also because the tweeter, that isn't neutral,so its a good thing to use soft or dark sounding amplifiers, kables and after many hours of music the tweeter sounds a bit softer, in my case its a matter og warming up the amplifier (2x120 watt 8 ohm and 2x 220 4 ohm from Rotel) and speakers before the sound gets (for my ears) soft from the tweeter, in my ears the midrange is good with no problems at all, as well as the bas just needs at bost under 100 hz(with techno the bas level is more what most people like).

So for at about 200 euros you get a set of good sounding speakers with wall mounting's on the back the has the ability to play really loud with a big amplifier, the most negative thing is that the tweeter is a bit to loud, but that could be a good thing with a old hifi system that needs some power at high levels (tweeter) any 50-150 watt amplifier would be enough for the speaker to play loud, as long as the system is oft sounding at the high frekvenses, but don't expect a lot of bas in big rooms.

Overall the speaker only gets 4 out of 5 stars because of the tweeter that is to loudand if the speaker couldn play loud music it would only get 3 stars .
