Strength:

I have Durham 1, quite old. They sound phenomenal, even though close to 40 years old. Depending upon the type music, I prefer those over my equally old Outsider Pico which were quite a bit more expensive (exchanged drivers on latter). With money, will buy other Castle speakers for another room in the house. Folks, you buy these online without listening in a showroom. Don't do that with any speakers other than Castle. No fancy cable necessary. They are a bargain. I count myself as audiophile

Weakness:

What weakness - none comes to mind. Value: 5 star

Strength:

Massive soundstage Lovely, open sound Loads of depth Bargain

I bought these in December 2004 to use as rears in my surround sound setup. Castle Richmond 2's were being used as fronts. After a bit of experimenting, I discovered I much prefered the sound of the Durham's to the Richmond's, and they were swopped around. The Durham's are very "open" and produce a wide soundstage and have great depth. By far the best bang for buck product I have bought so far.
