With the introduction of the Model MEA110 portable digital audio player, the industry's first digital audio player to include SD memory card technology, Toshiba signaled its intention to define and lead the growing portable digital audio market. The company reaffirms that commitment with the introduction of its second digital audio player, the MEA210. Equipped with 32MB of internal Flash Memory, this stylish, ultra-portable device measures just 2" x 2" x ½" and allows consumers to record and playback 40 minutes of 96 kbps, AAC encoded digital audio. A built-in SD memory card slot allows the potential for an additional 80 minutes of digital audio playback (with a 64MB SD card). Weighing just 1.5 ounces with battery, the SDMI Compliant MEA210 is compatible with AAC and MP-3 formats, Windows Media Audio will also be supported by a future software update.
