It did have a nice sound (if it was working properly)

Battery compartment design very poor and there was a small cheap plastic top that wouldn't stay latched and therefore the battery kept falling out.

also, the volume, genre, play next controls would switch off and wouldn't work correctly and this is when it was BRAND NEW!

Very poor and I would recommend everyone to steer clear of this model!

I don't understand the high review of this because it's the worst mp3 player i've encountered. The battery compartment is held by a small cheap top that will spring open frequently and eventually i just lost the top and had to throw it away. Also, i bought this NEW and immediately had problems hitting the volume and having the genre of music (rock, jazz) change INSTEAD OF the volume and vice versa and sometimes it didn't come on at all.

Absolutely the worst!
