With thousands of hours of head time, the DHR-1000 has been a super workhorse. I used it to rough edit video shot on a VX-1000 and other camcorders for professional video projects. It saved head life on my camcorders and immense amount of time in post. It still works flawlessly. It supports DVCAM and mini-DV tapes. It is an awesome product... easy to use, durable, and low cost.
