its a good cd player if you only listen to it while resting. or someplace while you are sitting .

It is not a very good player in the car, because it skips very much. NOT RECOMMENDED for using in the CAR!!!

Came with car kit, well built.

Crap headphones it came with.

During the 2 years that i've used this CD player, i was never really impressed with it.

During that time i really never had a really decent pair of headphones to use. The ones that it came with were horrible. I could barely use the first Mega Bass setting and not have distortion. I had used a set of Closed JVC headphone for a while, but these had not sounded to good either.

I just got myself a set of Sony MDR-V600 phones for 50 bucks(what a deal), and hooked em up to my cd player and wow...its like a whole new player.

Sounds awesome with the right headphones. I can bump the bass up to the highest setting and it sounds sooo clean.
BTW im listening to The Roots(hiphop) right now.

I bought this product at a sony outlet w while ago. I have been pleased with it. Theres nothing great about it but it hasnt had any problems yet. It even got rained on during a camping trip and kept working fine. My only complaint is that the headphones aren't very good. They seemed kind of small and werent very good quality but those were replaced and i was happy.

I think the D-E307CK is one of the most reliable Discman's Sony has made. I don't own one, but I have found several owners that were very happy with it. A friend has one that is a year and half old and he was using it in a tech room at school and accidentally hit it with his arm and it went shooting off a woodworking table onto the cement floor while running, and continues to work perfect. You can find this cd player for low prices since it is discontinued.

Is there really a difference in cd players?

Pricey to buy and parts are expensive

Good product but the thingy inside that u but the cd on had broke and they said it would cost more then the unit to fix it :(...It was good while it lasted
