Panasonic portable CD/MP3 player model SL-MP36C can deliver up to 40 hours of MP3 and up to 30 hours of CD play before requiring a battery change. In addition to playing commercially produced music CDs, this player lets users enjoy home-recorded music which has been saved as MP3 music files and recorded onto CD-R or CD-RW disks. The MP3 format can hold huge amounts of compressed audio data while retaining excellent audio quality. Listeners can quickly access their personal MP3 music library by searching for albums with the convenient Album Skip function. Other features provided to make the most of MP3 playback include random play (file/album), repeat play (file/album) and 20-track random access programming.
