Strength:

Very easy to operate

Weakness:

Poor audio. Also this may seem strange, but unit has a bad odor to it that has not gone away.

Another "made in China" special deal for you. This unit has poor sound whether your using the tape player, CD, or tuner. The volume isn't very loud, but that doesn't concern me. The overall tone does not have the booming bass and I also like that, but the sound is still distorted and poor whether your using the speakers or headphones. I guess there are a few units made in China that are thrust upon us that may be good units but you have to seach for them. I don't care that they are made in China, but I'm just tired of the general state of crap that exist among consumer electronics today. I'm considering only buying Japanese gear directly from Japan via such places of audiocubes.com. I don't think Digitally Unique is going to let me return this unit because they say they will not accept returns on JVC gear. Anybody want it?

I've bought many boomboxes over the years.
