Sad to say that such a costly product its producing strange sound in one of the speakers when i play song on high volume. This is so irritating. I dont know whether mine is faulty or its a common issue.

DO NOT BUY BOSE!!!!
I say this as someone who's gotten burned.

I bought the 321 Bose System a year and a half ago. Ofcourse the warranty ran out right before the system completely broke down. I had to ship it ($100) to them, and then they charged me another $150 to fix their own lemon.

And the sound is only average. You should buy any other brand instead, you get a better sounding system, at a fraction of the cost, and it'll last more than a year and a half!

Wanted a SoundDock for a long time. Heard good things. Felt as though Bose had a great reputation. Felt as though the price tag justified the quality I would surely receive and enjoy. Justified the purchase as an addition to the new baby room in our home. Felt I would be able to enjoy great sound at very low volumes. I do enjoy sound, ok sound, and a nice high-pitched buzz noise that never goes away. I've since tossed the packaging, but am trying to draft a believable story in my head so I can toss this thing on Craig's List tomorrow.

The Bose SoundDock delivers very crisp, bright tones, easily filling a much larger space than it looks like it could handle. I've never even had to push the volume up much at all to hear it throughout my whole (admittedly pretty open) house. I tend to keep my pod docked there when I am not carrying it around with me, so it is always charged and ready to go, which is nice. The controls are extremely simple: just volume up and down buttons, nothing else. There's a downside to all this clarity and simplicity, however. When you switch from George Winston to Massive Attack, there's no adjustment you can make to accomodate the difference in sound. If you are going to be listening to music with great dynamic range that also requires support for a deep, driving bass, you aren't going to get it from the SoundDock. I have also found it to buzz occasionally at even quite low volumes with some heavy sounds (some of this is massage music, not even speaking of metal), and that's not good at all. So, if you are looking for simplicity, extreme clarity and great brightness, this could be the device for you. Otherwise, keep looking.

Bose. All marketing and no great audio. Bose is terrified to publish specs on there stuff because "we " do not need that information. Have you ever wondered why the Best car out there uses Mark Levinson Gear. Even James bond uses Linn in his aston Martin.

I heard this "THING" at a store on the Navy sub Base in Groton Connecticut. After 5 seconds i walked away. Wall of Sound NOT. Massive distortion YES. Will BOSE make anything that sounds like it plays MUSIC. This "product" does not even rate 1 Star. Remember Friends do not let friends buy Bose.
