I like this tuner, it sounds very very good with the right signal input. I am a radio Ham and have home brewed a good antenna for this and the results are CD quality without the edginess and harshness - really like the musicality of this tuner a great deal. I run with Valve mono-Blocks and there is some very sweet tunes that come out of this unit.

System matched with the A2CR pre-amp, TT Genesis Mono-blocks and Living Voice speakers it is superb. Recently came home from a Hi End show and my system is definitely not embarrassed. Enjoy the music, after all its what its all about.

Strength:

Excellent ability to pull in stations and lock them. Sound quality is excellent.

Weakness:

Remote is cheap. No direct numerical access to preset stations.

First of all, this tuner is really a great piece of equipment. Also, it is FM only.

When pulling in strong stations, it is very difficult to hear any background noise which gives full attention to the programming. Even stations that are only in signal strength of 5 to 6 sound very clear.

The tuner is capable of approaching CD quality and has a very full mid-bass that gives FM music a very dynamic sound.

Makes listening to the radio fun again.
