Strength:

Product Design I woke me up to my favorite song everyday for three months.

Weakness:

CD player quit playing after only 3 months of use.

All I wanted was an alarm clock I could choose the song I wake up to. Out of all the CD alarm clocks I tested, the Sony DreamMachine seemed to have the best sound and I loved being able to wake up to whatever song I desired. The sound quality in no way replaces my other cd players, but I got it simply for the CD alarm. You can also set the buzzer (which has a pleasing sound compared to most other buzzers out there) and the radio alarm at different times. I even enjoy the design. It came with a 1 year waranty on labor, parts and accessories. Almost 3 months to the day of purchase the CD player quit working and Sony claims it only covers parts for one year and labor is covered for 90 days. The cost of labor is half the price I paid for the player plus shipping. I don't know if it will be worth getting it fixed unless they cover the labor costs. I will not be buying another.
