Strength:

I have a lot of things to say about this system that are totally awesome. Pretty much all of them are good especially the sound. In fact, this has been my favourite stereo system that I have ever owned and it has great sound and has good read quality on scratched discs. I always have the DSG turned on for max bass. I also love the way you can control the amount of bass and treble that you hear. Very shiny and very nice looking unit this thing is. Thanks SONY👍👍👍👍👍

Weakness:

I haven’t had any negative things to say about this stereo system right up until it started to skip on every single CD and on every track. Then it started to skip on only the first few tracks. First of all it seems really weird that it would skip on every track and then suddenly start skipping on the first few. Is this a normal thing for it to do because it is really starting to annoy me. And what’s more I said it was my favourite stereo system and it has really made me upset. I have been trying to find another stereo but nothing I can find makes this stereo system seem week. Every other function however is beyond amazing 😉!!! Thanks SONY👍👍👍

Strength:

Great sound from small sytem. Great bass response. Stylish. Great CD player, has never skipped on me. DSG improves sound quality greatly. One thing that really amuses me is the amount of distortion from this system. None! Even with bass & treble controls up all the way with DSG (Dynamic Sound Genorator) on, at maximum volume this system gives NO distortion. Sound is not weak.

Weakness:

I am happy to say that I have found no problems with this system!

This system totally rocks! After setting up the speakers properly I couldn't belive it! This tiny system that I had just purchased sounds like an enourmous component system. The bass and rich sound out of these tiny speakers is awsome! 35 watts per channel sounds like 100 watts per channel. I like the design of this system, very stylish, suits pretty much anywhere. I play the drums and I have this unit placed right next to my set, and NEVER EVER has this thing skipped! I'm speaking truthfully here, it has NEVER skipped!! This is a great system, Sony has really outdone themselves this time!! Way-to-go!!

Strength:

Great Price, Good overall sound from small system.

Weakness:

Not much real bass from small speakers but this is the price you pay for a small system. Only on CD at a time.

Bought two of these system for my kids rooms. This is a very compact system and a good match for small rooms. After listening to at least a dozen mini systems I found that for the money this system could not be beat. Sure, you can get better but I found that better usually cost around $300 or more. My son is thinking of adding a subwoofer for more bass but I am satisfied with the system as is. I also tend to be conservative in my ratings as I feel that if something should be rated 5/5 it ought to be perfect in performance at almost no cost.
