Philips FW P78 Micro Shelf System Mini Systems

Philips FW P78 Micro Shelf System Mini Systems

DESCRIPTION

Philips introduces the FW-P78 Micro Shelf System, this 6-Speaker Dolby Pro Logic Surround Sound System provides exceptional acoustic sound for your home theater. The front left and right speakers deliver detailed, directional sound as the center channel speaker ""steers"" dialogue/vocal sound to where you see the mouth moving - at the TV screen. Both surround speakers add a greater sense of depth with special effects and time delay, making every living room a home theater with spaceships overhead, aliens behind the couch but no gum on the floor. The subwoofer enhances this home theater effect.

Strength:

its a really good looking system

Weakness:

not user friendly

I bought this system primarily for a home theatre surround sound. Either i am extremely lame, or i got the one that has problems, but i find it rather hard to use. The sound is ok, but the surround sound features are really hard to understand how to use. I lost the receipt or i would have taken it back. I need good directions and this just isn't doing it for me.

Strength:

Killer sound, nice subwoofer

Weakness:

nothing really, not priced high enough maybe

This is my friend Anthonys system and he has. Its he Philips system and its loud as hell. The original system has a nice kick to it and the sound is crisp and clear. He added about 5 wall speakers a couple of bookshelf speakers with some nice sound and a extra sub which really gives it that movie theater sound. That mutha hubberd is one loud cookie. I recommend finding this system at your local store and invest in buying it. It will be well worth the money and if the sound ever gets to little or boring just add a couple more speakers.

Strength:

There are some good strengths with this stereo, fist of all you get the sub, now that is one good sub to go down low with your bass. And it is a easy to use reciever with a few buttons. It has a good 40 oreset radio stations(you will never need to use them all but you know they are therre)

Weakness:

There are weaknesses. This syereo has a volume of 40 and if you go past 30 it starts to sound disstorted, that is why you can add an extra sub with a built in amp.

This is one good stereo. If you are looking for a stereo with a little power this is the one you go for. With its 75 watt sub, you have all the bass you need and with the two rear bookshelf speakers you have 6 1/2 cones that puts out a good 200 watt system.
