Strength:

Bi wired

Weakness:

Gives up on huge bass (only 2 6in subs with lower wattage)

PRICE IS IN CANADIAN FUNDS Well done system by panasonic. In my opinion, mini systems from panasonic, portable stuff from sony. My brother just bought a Sony minisystem for around $400 cdn.(same price as mine, except mine is 3 years old). Mine sounds much nicer than his, no doubt in my mind. He won't agree with it, but Im pretty sure mine sounds nicer. The bi wired design really helps bass, as it doesn't get muddled in with the rest of the frequencies. That is the major downfall to his sony system, bass and the rest getting mixed up. Mine also has more audio tuning options, with custom equlizers.

Strength:

it can get loud. the sound is crisp sounding for the most part until the dB level is extreme. the tape recordings are loud and accurate (except for the hiss, there's no dolby in this unit).

Weakness:

at loud volumes with the super woofer bass to max, there is some bass loss.

this mini system is easy to listen to. it is bi amped and has stong mid bass reproduction. it's a great little system to have to just be able to pop in a cd and listen to, loud or quite. anyone that doesn't mind not hearing sub bass in their music should enjoy this system.

Strength:

Price, bi-amped, clean, easy to use

Weakness:

the bass can be muddy at times

Overall, it''s not a bad system. It''s bi-amped which is kind of cool. So, I''ve got the superwoofers on the floor, and I''ve got the mids and highs running through some bose 141''s. The sound is crisp and clean. The bass isn''t real strong, but it gets the job done. I''ve enjoyed having it. Although, I''m going to upgrade to a Wharfedale system soon.
