Strength:

Everything

Weakness:

Nothing

Best Shelf System I've ever heard. All of my friends who hear it are immediately in love and I've only had one problem with it, i blew a speaker once because I have my tv sound and my computer sound ran through it and i was able to push more sound through it, but by doing so, blew it. But it was still under the two year warranty and I got a whole new speaker for free!!! I've had it for 23 months now and still listen to it all the time.

Strength:

Incredable amount of bass for the money, tons of impact very nice mids, and highs remain clean with most music at high volume they continue to impress me with the massive impact they have each and every time I listen to them and I have to stress, impact impact impact !

Weakness:

with some music, the highs can get a little hard when the volume is 27-max not really noticible with most songs, but a few I noticed the bass would get a little sloppy, but what can you expect with a bandpass setup ?, efficiency thats what! :)

I picked up this system for christmas casue I wanted a good system that would hit hard in my 8x8 relaxation room, and I have to say, I am extremely satifyed with my purchase. Overall the impact from the bass is massive, but I could have asked for smoother highs and midtones. on a sub $500 system, this is definitly one of the best ive heard.

Strength:

Extreme bass, clear highs and mids. Full frequency response (20Hz-20Khz).

Weakness:

Left speaker rattles when bass hits--due to poor construction. Very large for a shelf system. Clock is useless...gains 5 minutes or so every day.

I recently ordered the MX-GT90 off the web after reading several reviews, all of which said the system was excellent. The system puts out floor-rumbling bass and produces clear mids and highs. The unit I ordered has poor speaker construction, which causes the speakers to rattle and buzz when playing bass heavy music.

Strength:

The deepest bass i have ever heard, clear sound no matter what you are listening to. Decent price for the 460 watts of raw power you are getting. You can hear the sound clearly from 100 yards away, no jokes.

Weakness:

None

The JVC MX-GT90 is hands down the most extraordinary minisystem on the planet. It gives you very deep bass, crisp sound and an overall remarkable system. The MX-GT90’s stunning design catches people’s attention, and then they are blown away by the incredible vibes. No matter what kind of music you listen to this system delivers the perfect sound. I tested a number of minisystems out and this system provided the most power and best sound for a decent price. No system came close to rattling my entire house and upsetting the whole street as the MX-GT90 did. This system has numerous features including 8 preset sound settings, and 3 manual settings, independent subwoofer volume control and dual giga-tubes. All in all, this system is by far the best minisystem out on the market, and I recommend everyone buys it.

Strength:

It has a lot of power to work with, you can connect it to a TV or a reciever, and you can piss of your nieghbors if you want.

Weakness:

The only weakness is that it''s kind of large especially for a little apartment that I''ve got but it''s all worth it when you blast it.

This system is awesome. I just got and was blown away by the power and the air that comes out of the tubes on top of the speakers. It made my floor vibrate, my pictures were rattling, and it was loud. This is one of the best systems I''ve ever bought. I recommend that you all buy one of these.

Strength:

Very nice bass for a mini-system...

Weakness:

Bi-Amped, the sub amps are powerful, but the tweeter and mid amp leaves some to be desired...

Bought the system right when it came out, it is very nice, and has a great deal of bass. The subs are powerful and pretty crisp. The high and mids are not bad, but with only 70 watts going to them they don't get to loud, they begin to get drowned out by the bass. The 3 disc changer can get a bit annoying, only holding 3 discs and all, but you get used to it. Overall the system has been a good performer...

Strength:

Solid Bass and good mid-high range response

Weakness:

Doesn't go low enough for a FEW songs, and has small air leaks around speaker cabnet

I've only had the system for a few days now and so far it seems to be pretty darn good for a mini-system. Performance is excelent for the everyday listener. There ar some small air leaks in the back of the speaker cabnet that come from less than perfect manufacturing (hardly noticable) and the bass does not go quite low enough for some rap songs. Overall I would say that this is the best product of its class. I've listened to systems by many other manufacterors and this one blows them away, with pure volume throughout the freq. range with minimal distortion. In its class, no other system can go as low or as loud as this one. I would only say to the potential buyer to not get ripped off paying $400+ for this. Don't pay any more than 300-350, which is quite easy to do with all of the online dealers nowadays.

Strength:

Incredibly low bass, powerful sound, huge bang-for-the-buck, radical display and radical looks.

Weakness:

size? (huge!), radical looks? (tubes, circles & plenty of lights in action).

This mini system is the perfect party system! It can play loud and deep. You can change CD's while one is playing.
It's looks are attention-getting as well. The display is reminiscent of juke boxes! The 3 inch pipes coming out the tops of each speaker look very radical and can cool you off during heavy bass passages (they blow out prodigious amounts of air!) All this at a bargain price! I couldn't resist getting one. I just have to figure out where I'm going to put it now.
