Beautiful sound, good clean lines and great quality

I bought this unit at Costco in 1998. I looked at it in 1997, but not have the money at the time. What I liked best about the unit was the clean styling AND the sound quality proved to be excellent.

There was some reluctancy on my end to purchase JVC since I had problems with previous JVC products, and many of my friends have had problems with JVC as well. I'm pleased to say that there's been no problems with this system, even for the fact it's a first year model and it's three years later..

Sound, Compactness, ease of operation, style

Great little unit. Had it three years now and it has never given me one problem. Bought it at a time when low-key styling in a mini system was few and far between. Guess JVC and I were slightly ahead of our time. Only wish I had spent $75 more for the FS-2000 which was almost identical but had cherry speakers (I've since added a 2nd mini, JVC's FS-SD9 which does.)
