I just wanted to let everyone know that AIWA is junk. If you gave any Aiwa product a good review it either means that you have not had it long or you were extremely lucky. Maybe it's because you hardly ever use it. STAY AWAY FROM AIWA!!!!!!!!!!! Don't waste your money on a door stop. Everyone I know including myself that owns an Aiwa product has had some major problem with it. I love music and I Have to have the best of everything. this system has alot of sound options and EQ modes goin' . this system is built like a DODGE RAM it is tough yet cool. Strength:

Versatility, good sound and excellent value sums up Aiwa's products. They do not pretend to make a Lexus.

Weakness:

There is a need to dispose of the frivolous game, for it is annoying. Also, Aiwa needs to start development of separate receivers/amplifiers for customers.`

I have been an audio buff for 30 years, and at one time I had a state of the art stereo system. On a whim, I purchased an Aiwa surround sound system. When I purchased the DVD player, I had to get one with a decoder. However, I am quite impressed with the quality of sound and the many features you get for the price. I know that I could spend over 2000.00 for a so-called "kick-ass" system, and I may do this in the future. However, Aiwa manufactures a fine product that is value oriented, and does not break the consumer's bank. Hey gang, let us look at the total picture when evaluating a product.....230 watts, great sound, varied features, reliable! Dennis M. Spinella, Ph.D.

I also have a 200 watt stereo system with a 5 disc changer and a turntable. It is an incredible value!!

Strength:

great bass and vibrant highs

Weakness:

malfunctions when you have volume to max

Ive had this product for over 2 years and just recently, the
right speaker went out woofer and all. Then the only thing
working on the other speaker the tweeter and super tweeter quit working and now the only thing working is the woofer
Also when you turn the volume up all the way< the display will go blank and only the play buttons and jog dial will light and then you have to unplug it and plug it back in which really sucks to the max. I thought that Aiwa was a good brand to buy but I guess I was just fooling myself, plus to top everything off if you need to fix the speakers you cant because there are no screws in the back of the cabinets
This basically says that I think Aiwa is a poor coice so dont buy the cx na508. If I could do it over I would have bough a Sony
