A Sony circuit that uses advanced edge detection logic to improve the playback picture sharpness of every tape no matter where it was recorded. Unlike conventional sharpness controls, Reality Regenerator minimizes picture distortions and video noise. A system for building easier, more intuitive A/V functionality. Requires audio components with the S-Link Control A1 interface, video components with the S-Link Control S interface and A/V Receivers with both the S-Link Control A1 and S-Link Control S interfaces.
