Strength:

Lots of features, best SVHS editor for the price. Works great for event videography. Produced show for air on these. Handles tape and slow editing better than mini-DV. Long programs easier to edit on this than final cut. Saves time.

Weakness:

Would be nice to have a firewire convertor built in to feed to a computer, but not necessary doing machine to machine. Keep video YC for best clarity!

Great picture, Good jog shuttle, better than other SVHS

Customer Service

What service? We just clean the heads periodically, no big deal!

Similar Products Used:

Had also Panasonic AG-1960. The edit similar but much clearer picturer, and more audio out options.

Strength:

Very multi purpose.

Weakness:

I haven't found any weaknesses yet.

Excellent editing VCR.
I mostly use it for its RS-232 port in the back.
This VCR is compatible with the Vbrick Encoders for remote control.
Prices range from $1,149 to $1,899.
