This Philips flagship multi-channel super audio CD redefines high sound resolution with its dual laser pick-up, built-in DSD, AC-3, MPEG2 Decoder (5.1 Output) with coaxial and digital output. Its torroidal transformer and its 5-disc resume feature allows viewers to pick-up where they left off on their 5 most recently viewed DVD titles. The SACD1000 has a twin power supply. In addition, it has Composite, S-Video and Component video connections.

Strength:

SACD and CD sound. Warm and musical.

Weakness:

Reliability.

One of the best sounding SACD player on the market. It has a gorgeous sound with a very good CD player performance. I find it very good for DVD video and MCH, too. It have had some reliability in general. The price shows Euro currency.

Sound Quality DVD Problem Can''''t read some SACD disc...

This player is not very good, and expensive. I recommand buying a hi end cd player is enough. Not BIG DEAL about SACD.
