Strength:

3-Disc capacity! Great audio and video. Attractive styling. Component hook-up. Change audio, angle, digest and see chapter even if DVD doesnt have scene selection, zoom (GREAT), 3-D phonic sound, theater position (darkens screen 3 modes), easy to select and/or change subtitles and changes languages. My favore is the resume feature so if you accidently stop it or dont want to leave it on pause it will resume play with a simple push of the play button.

Weakness:

Some DVDs no matter how clean or new will not play (rarely) or will cause visual problems during playback. Will not play CDR's or some other types of VCD's. DVD player will lock up when unrecognizable disc is found and you have to turn off and wait for it to shut itself off. No Digital audio out (PCM/Bitstream).

This DVD player extremely easy to learn and use as well as remote. Only one drawback is the recognition of some/FEW DVDs.

Similar Products Used:

I got a cheap panasonic and it recognizes all discs but has less features. Sony is my next buy for sure but panasonic is great. JVC has better audio components than video. Ive found problems with JVC
