Weakness:

Be warned!!! Do not move this unit when there are discs inside. I did this and they moved around and I had to open the unit up and extract a couple discs which had found there way into places they shouldn't have been. Don't buy this unit for the MP3 playback feature. It only comes out through the analog outputs and the folder navigation isn't the best.

The price on this unit was hard to pass up. This unit replaced my 1st generation Panasonic DVD player which wouldn't even play CDRs. I am very happy with this unit. It does everything its supposed to. I am a big JVC fan and trying to keep everything in the family. Sometimes I think a single disc unit would have been better but it was such a good deal!!!

Strength:

So far works well with Dolby Digital Optical out playing DVD's.{

Weakness:

BIG disappointment with MP3 playback (which i was hoping to USE more of) MP3 (digital format) playback only outputs through ANALOG output (???) very weird! MP3 playback only possible with DIGITAL OPTICAL cable unplugged!!! even weirder... one must plug/unplug DIGITAL out to get MP3 playback to work... THIS IS RIDICULOUS!

Purhcased because it was multi-disc and had all i wanted at low price (this is a refurbished unit $130 including shipping) .
