Strength:

Great value, solid quality, upgradable, and wonderful performance.

Weakness:

Front speakers underacheive.

The YHT-750 is an overall outstanding system, especially for the price at which one can obtain it since the recent introduction of the YHT-755 (which comes with larger front speakers and a smaller woofer). The individual components are high quality and certainly up to Yamaha standards. The receiver has A & B front speaker outputs, along with a good variety of other inputs and outputs, including component cables. The DVD/CD player also comes with component cable outputs. The subwoofer, center, and surround speakers are perfect for a product in this range, but the front speakers are underacheivers. I purchased a set of Yamaha NS-333 speakers to replace the box fronts. Nevertheless, even without the NS-333 speakers, this system sounds very good. Again, you just can't beat the quality, performance, and sound for the price.
