Strength:

Progressive scan picture
Surround sound
Disc Memory so you can swap and pick up where you left off
Nice and thin
Good overall for the money
Easy to set for multi-region

Weakness:

Stereo output?
Quite slow to start up
Slow to open drawer
No eject button on remote (would be useful given how slow it is to eject)

This DVD player is good value and produces a lovely picture on my HD LCD screen. Audio in DTS and Dolby Digital is full of character. Stereo output for music seems flat but I'm not sure if that's because of my Receiver (Denon AVR2106).

I bought this particular unit because it was the best suited for the following criteria:

* Could easily be set to play Region 1 and 2
* Not a cheapo job but also not too expensive
* Had progressive scan
* Had coax and optical digital outputs
