Unbeatable bang-for-the buck. I picked this unit up after our SD-2109 gave up the ghost after four use of heavy use. At $69.00 I was impressed with the features it offers (no dual tray - but that is what crapped out on the last unit). These devices have come a long way in the past four years. Unit offers component video, Dolby, DTS, etc. etc. It is not a progressive scan DVD player, however, my tv has progressive scan so it is not needed (and will actually negatively effect the picture on my particular tv - a Samsung 533RF).
