I begrudgingly purchased this DVD Player a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, there was very little selection and I wanted to acquire a better Player with more features, but FUTURESHOP wouldn't sell a floor model, and was out of stock. However, to my surprise this DVD Player seems to have its benefits. It plays DVD's without a hitch (having tested approximately 10 DVD's so far) except for certain 'Widescreen' DVD's play in a non widescreen format. All the picture is there, it just appears to be stretched automatically. So far I can find no solution to this, especially occuring on Starship Troopers. But for the price, it seems to work well. It has Zoom Feature, which my RCA didn't and also has a FF speed of 128x. All in all, worth the money, as an entry level DVD Player.
