Sennheiser HD 280 Pro Over-Ear

Sennheiser HD 280 Pro Over-Ear

The HD280 pro headphones are full-sized, sealed headphones, that are light-wieght, comfortable to wear, and with excellent sound quality. Becuase of their closed back-design, these headphones reduce outside noise, making them excellent for listening in noisy environments, weither on stage, mass transit, or behind the wheels of steel. These headphones are tight fitting, extremely comfortable, and fully adjustable. The HD280pro fold upwards into the headband for storage, forming a neat little bundle. It features a DJ friendly coiled cord as well as 1/8" mini to 1/4" pro plug adapter.

Very rich bass!
VERY WELL BUILT not flimsy at all definitely what you'd expect from a German company!!!
Pleasure to wear ....light weight for the size.
Cord....ear pads and headband pad are all replaceable by user and can be bought threw Sennheiser.
Once you have these on you hear NOTHING but what is played threw em.
You could take these to the shooting range and use em for ear protection....they are THAT good at sealing out surrounding noise!!!!

None for a phone in this price range I can see.
Lacking on the highs a bit but not enough to get upset about - if one was to be that picky.

Got mine for $50 "like new" shipped off ebay! WHAT A DEAL!!!

Reasons I got em.....
Reviews I've seen everywhere gave em at least 4 outta 5 stars.
Cord....ear pads and headband pad are all replaceable by user and can be bought threw Sennheiser.
Wanted a quality built Pro DJ style headphone with swivel ear pieces.

Not only got em for my System but also for my Shortwave listening.

**** The template above only lets you go to 2006 for product year but as of 9/16/2008 they are available everywhere for sale ****
