Strength:

Very accurate reproduction in all ranges --- full, but not over-powering bass.

Weakness:

None to speak of

I have the Yamaha RH-5Ma headphones as well and actually prefer the RH-3's. They are more comfortable on, or rather around, the ears since the earpads are significantly larger than the RH-5Ma's. The sound reprodution is very bright, clear and resonant --- with good bass extension. The earpads are large enough to isolate the listener from sounds coming from the environment. The RH-3 headphones are amongst the best I've tried, especially if price is considered.
