Strength:

Dynamic range, natural deep bass, clear crisp highs and ultra comfort. And they look pretty cool too =-)

Weakness:

They don't hold in sound too well, I don't think their suppose to but if you crank it anyone within about 10 feet away will hear.

Previoously I was using some sony earbuds, the ex70sp's. I decided that I wanted to try out some good monitors so I did a little research and read some reviews. At first I was a bit worried because nearly every review I read said that the 780's lacked bass regardless of the low frequency response of 5hz. But finally when I received them I tried them out and what do you know, the reviews were right. They did lack the bass that I had with my ex70's. But I had just gotten them. Anyone who knows anything about receiving new audio equiptment should know that it needs to be broken in. So I let it play for a couple of hours and the next time I tried them on they sounded completely different. They have a great dynamic range and the lows were natural and deep not muddy and overexagerated like my earbuds and the highs were clear and crisp. Over all I think that their great.

Strength:

Sound

Weakness:

Heavy and a little hot (after +- 30 min.) because of the huge soft (very confortable) earpads.

These headphones are great, they have an amazing sound and nothing comes close at the price. They are definitly a "best buy" :-) If you´ve never listened to "real" headphones... you should try these, you will be amazed...and they don´t cost a small fortune.

Strength:

Very Clear, Wide Sound, True Bass(not overwhelming, very comfortable)

Weakness:

Well I did not find any...

Well I was never fond of Sony equipment, but after listening for an hour or two I had to go with the Sony Reference. I listened to a High Sennheiser modell, and yes it was quite good. But the Sennheiser did not sound as good to me as the Sony reference,..... Therefore I bought the Sony...,,,

PS: This is a great Headphone, I am enjoying many hours
