I use these for listening to the TV. With my advancing years and deteriorating hearing I find the sound quality very good - far better than my Bose sound bar. I have owned these headphones for around two years and all functions continue to work well.

The covering on the earphone pads is hanging in tatters. The material is some sort of flimsy plastic film - far lighter than your average plastic bag from the supermarket. Really disappointing as I expected more than two years use.

Very light, do not heat the ears, great warm sound, in fact you won't find sound like this in sennheiser's middle class anymore. More punch than my new 590's.

headband wears out and breaks once in two years

I've had them for a couple of years. I paid around 100DM, and I must say they are a great buy. The sound is warm, detailed, they can go really low and loud without distortion. In Home Theater they sound a lot like cinema speakers - the sound is large, massive, yet still detailed.
