Strength:

Great base, solid sound, soundproofs outside noises

Weakness:

Ya...bad for the hair

You can always tell goo - sorry, great headphones by how they sound - off your head. I often find using them on my desk, almost as speakers and the quality is still top notch.

Strength:

cheap, better that wraparounds and the box is not a blisterpack; it was made for giftwraping.

Weakness:

messes up your hair

I had a good reveiw until I hit the reset button. but to make a long story short, they sound a helluva lot better than my teeny sounding wraparounds, and after searching for pro-luxe pro-40s for a long time, I ha ve found that they have been resurrected as jwin's JH-V800 headphones. And did I mention that they are cheaper that my radio shack supposed high quality wraparounds?

Strength:

Excellent base, and acoustic capabilities. extra long cord

These headphones are excellent. When I bought mine they were middle of the road price wise and they were just as good as the high end models. I listen to just about every kind of music on them inc. rap/hip-hop and the bass comes through clear and heavy.

Strength:

Great Base!

Weakness:

There is no weakness what so ever....best damn headphones I ever stumbled across. Ok the only downfall is I can't find out where to by em....

I stubmed across em from my dad who gave em to me. He upgraded his computer and they were included. Geesh what a pair of headphones. I am trying to find a seller in St.Louis tonight and I can't! I want to buy a second pair for work... My current pair has lasted over 4 yrs of almost daily use. These are the best headphones I have ever used. Period!

After returning a pair of rather poor quality headphones from Sony (Model CDR170 in Canada), I went to look at brands other than the electronic giants. I have no idea where these headphones are made, but when comparing it to the CDR170, there is a dramatic increase in quality. The bass response is stronger, the sound is very clear, and most of all it feels comfortable. If you are considering the CDR170 headphones, I advise you to look elsewhere, perhaps look into the Pro-40s. What a difference 14 dollars can make..
