I picked these headphones up when my Sony MDR-ED268 headphones decided to stop working. I paid around $40 for the Sony's and didn't want to shell that out again. The Panasonics were cheap and fit the bill. They sound fine for mobile use w/ my Archos MP3 player. The Sony's fit my ears better but I am not complaining. The Panasonics have better high end. For $10, you can't beat it.
