Strength:

Great bass, good high end clarity, nice styling

Weakness:

A little tight on the head

I bought these headphones to go along with my new cd/mp3 player. After not being being satisfied with the crappy pack in headphones I bought these based on availibility and reviews at www.audioreview.com and www.epinions.com. I have a good set of headphones already but they are JVC HA-G33s which don't sound great with portable players and not to mention look ridiculous for public use! These headphones have great bass that goes very low and sounds very solid and full. Under dircet comparison to my G33s the KTX Pros provided better bass but I felt that due to the open air design the soundstage was not as dynamic as the G33s. These headphones are very well suited for a portable player and they are a great value for the price. Perhaps the only complaint is that they squeeze tightly on your head. Maybe this is meant to help get better sound or maybe I just have a fat head, who knows!

Strength:

Crisp sound with great bass to accompy the music. The highs and lows just seem to blend so well together. For the price it's an excellent buy.

Weakness:

While these headphones sound great they can get uncomfortable after using them for a while. Maybe if these headphones had extra cushioning to make them more comfortable these would be THE perfect headphones!

I'm pretty picky when it comes to sound and I don't regret paying only 20 bucks for these babies! You sure get a heck of a bang for the buck so go ahead and buy one and listen for yourself!

Strength:

Very good sound for this size and price.

I bought the KTX-PRO, when my 4 month old Sony headphones started to vibrate. When I tried them, in the store, the sound was a big and pleasant surprise. I guess the 103dB sensitivity is responsible for this kind of sound quality.

Strength:

Inexpensive, great bass for the cost, very clean sound

Weakness:

Wears out to quickly.

I remember complaining about the quality of headphones in general, specifically the ones that come with Walkmen, etc. I was looking for a set of fully-cushioned, over-ear headphones to use with my stereo setup when my brother stopped by and asked me to listen to something on his walkan... Whoa! I thought it was the walkman that was so spectactular, but he told me about the cheap headphones he got at Radio Shack. Further research proved them to be Koss manufactured. They are the best sounding headphones for the amount of $$ I'm willing to spend ($75 or less), but are only suitable for walkman or PC use because of lightweight construction and short cord.
If only they made titanium-drivered "full-sized" headphones...

Strength:

clean bass, good midrange, high trebles

Weakness:

bass can be too punchy, open-air design.

I bought these for the replacement of some studio headphones that were dystroyed by my dog. From what a friend told me about the sound quality I felt that I can't go wrong. These headphones which I have been using for about a year had no major problems except the ear pads warn out. Thus I went to Radio Shack to see if I can obtain these parts. I noticed they have the same headphones but go by Pro-35 by Optimus. The disadvantage from buying these from them is they caust twice as much. Overall i would recomend these for $20 headphones and over some more expensive studio grade equipment.

Optimus pro-35 is the same model but manufactured for radio shack. These headphones cost twice as much but are exactly the same as the koss models.
