Beyer Dynamic DTX 800 Consumer Headphones Headphones

DTX 800 Consumer Headphones

The large acoustic chambers and the high quality DTX speaker drivers, with a neodymium magnet circuit and a 40 mm mylar diaphragms provide an excellent sound. The headband and the double-hinged ear cups with skinfriendly suhions adjust to the shape of the wearer's head for a comfortable fit.

Summary:
This is an excellent midrange headphones,as I believe other Beyer models of that class.
I've bought them 4 years ago and they working till know, although another pair was broken when I come to listen them in the market. I'm professional musician with 15 years in Opera House orchestra, I know what is to achieve a good balance between orchestra, singers and chorus, especially when the play all together. That is the same with headphones - when they sound ok,you will listen everything, and on their places. This Beyer is one of that kind of headphones, for me one of the best in midrange.
Strongly recommend for that money!

Strengths:
deep velvet bass, especially for rock,jazz-rock, drums, hip-hop,dj,etc.
clear at the top,no dizziness and mud
very comfortable cushions make hours of listening without pain to your ears
lightweight
deep-clear,you could hear a lot of quiet sounds, especially in the movies

Weaknesses:
design of headband
not that clear for classical music, little bit flat at higher pitches
try to find more...
