Strength:

Changer available for parties, etc. Mix mutiple CDs down to one Cd Good quality sound

Weakness:

Slow changing out CDs Slow changing CDs in shuffle mode Takes some time to learn all functions (I still keep the manual out)

I have been using this since last spring and have found it to be a very nice piece of equipment. It is great for putting together CD compilations. As a changer it slow to load and slow switching from one CD to another when on shuffle play. It takes some time to learn all of its tricks and quirks. I paid a few bucks more for the ES version, but being a disontinued model (it's replacement is electroniclly the same, but has a silver face plate) but it comes with a full 5 year parts and labor warranty. The sound quality is over all superior to my previous CD player, a Rotel RCD 965BX Limited Edition. But 10 years of CD player evolution will do that. The bass had a little bit less punch compared to the Rotel(a small adjustment of the equalizer took care of that). But the imaging and depth put the Rotel to shame. A regular version and an ES version are available, and deseerve a look if this is what you need: a good sounding CD player with changer capabilties and records to boot.
