Technics Technics sl-p2000 CD Players

Technics Technics sl-p2000 CD Players

The compact disk player which carries S-advanced MASH and 1-bit DAC, and a virtual battery.

Newly developed S-advanced MASH and 1-bit DAC are adopted as a D-A-conversion part.
This digital analog converter is advanced MASH of 3 chip stream compositions,Further high-quality sound-ization is attained by adopting an active feedback and adaptive local quantizer of new technology, and 4th noise shaping and 64 by oversampling have realized theoretical dynamic-range 145dB.
Furthermore, in the PWM translation part, high S/N, the low distortion, and the high linearity are realized together with 8DAC stream compositions by transmitting a clock signal direct from a quartz crystal.
Moreover, high precision instrumentation circuitry was IC-ized to the differential circuit, what was trimmed highly is adopted as it, and the more faithful play of a minute signal is realized.

While having adopted the newly developed virtual battery operation as a power-source part and cutting the wraparound of the noise from a power source or a digital circuit, the high-definition tone quality which is not inferior to a battery drive is realized.
Moreover, further high-quality sound-ization is attained by leakage flux adopting very few R core transformers as a transformer, and adopting the newly developed MASTER series large-sized aluminum electrolytic capacitor as a capacitor.

In order to reduce the ill effect to the tone quality by an extraneous vibration, THCB (Technics Hybrid Construction Base) is adopted.
THCB has multilayer structure which faced across the rubber base with the griddle chassis and the griddle bottom chassis, and is reducing the extraneous vibration conjointly with the large-sized insulator.
Moreover, in order to reduce an oscillation of a mechanism, the insulator of the optical deck part which adopted silicone gel, and a wide disk tray and original loading mechanism SL1 are adopted.

Digital-servo IBM PCN II and the system are adopted as a servo circuitry.
In this circuitry, the variation of the grand potential by a servo drive electric current is suppressed by considering a servo drive electric current as the stream composition which is not passed to a gland.

The class AA circuitry is adopted as a lineout circuitry, and more faithful signal transmission is made possible.

The demphasis circuitry of a digital stream composition is carried.

DC straight amplifier circuitry is carried.

The display-device mode functionality in which a display device can be switched off is carried.

The digital optical output-terminal is carried.

The gilding RCA-pin output-terminal is carried.

The balance output circuit is carried.

Wireless remote control is attached

I have owned this player for twelve years from new and it has been remarkable. The most natural sounding cd player I have ever heard. If you are looking for spectacular, overblown sonics, this is not the deck for you. What you get is what's actually on the cd with nothing added or taken away. Beautifully made, extremly heavy, completely reliable and imune from external vibrations.

None to report.

The player has nice ,strong tunefull bass, clean musical midrange ,highs are sweet .The sound is very dynamic and opened with exceptional stereo effect.I woud say sound leans toward analog warm sounding and at the same time let you hear details you may never heard before on recordings.Joy to listen music from cds.
If you considering buy this player I would recommend find out if the player is unmodified, because original sound may be destructed,as it was in my case(midrange was recessed and compressed too much)I had to bring it to original state.

I am using it with krell kav500i+Dynaudio Contour S1.4 and
Technics se-a3000,su-c3000+Harbeth Shl5
