Strength:

Great sound and excellent price/performance

Weakness:

None, considering the price

I have the DX-7111 (It's a DX-7211 without remote) and I'm very pleased with it. It has a warm and detailed sound with very dynamic bass (rare for a CD-player in this price range). It's hooked up to an Onkyo TX-8211 reciever with Dali Python bi-wire cables feeding the "juice" to Dali Suite 2.5 speakers. Great combination, great sound, great price.

Strength:

Natural sound, built quality, looks

Weakness:

none at this price

This player sounds surprisingly sophisticated taking into account the price! We're talking of crisp, detailed highs, natural midband, well defined bass. The bass does not have brute power, but more importantly, it reaches the lowest notes with superb definition - this is especially audible in classical music and acoustic jazz.
Highly recommended.
