A touch too soft sometimes.

Slotted it in with Audiolab Amps and Mission Speakers. I'd never heard my system come through so natural and unforced. It replaced a Cambridge Audio CD4SE / DAC3 combo, which sounded tinny in comparison. Had a problem when one of the regulators gave up, but the factory back up is really good.
It doesn't seem fussy about what type of music you feed it.
Woth dance, it gets rid of the annoying high hat "ping", giving it a bit more life, whilst with vocal works, it creates a really atmospheric sound stage.
i'll be swapping amps soon, and I guess that this CD Player will work well with Musical Fidelity gear, I'm going to try it with the XA-2 integrated, I have a feeling it'll work out well....
