Strength:

GREAT SOUND, FAST TRAY, LOOKS

Weakness:

CRAPY REMOTE...

I USED TO HAVE A 6 DISC CAROSEL DVD PLAYER (TOSHIBA). BUT I HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE WITH IT. I RETURNED IT AND DECIEDED TO GO WITH SEPARTED COMPONENTS. I HAVE A MARANTZ SR-8000 RECIEVER SO I REALLY WANTED TO MATCH THE GREAT SOUND FROM IT. THE REASON I WENT WITH THE CHEAPER MODEL OF THE MARANTZ CAROSELS IS BECAUSE I COULDN'T REALLY HERE A GREAT DEAL OF IMPROVEMENT FROM THE THREE. THE REMOTE KINDA SUCKS, BUT I HAVE THE FULLY PROGRAMABLE RC-MARK II. GREAT REMOTE!!

Strength:

Digital(coax) output, great sound, very well built.
Well worth the money.

Weakness:

none so far...

Originally, I wasn't going to spend the extra money for this unit, but after hearing the cheaper competitors, and seeing how they were built,it was an easy choice.
If you own a digital receiver, why buy a CD player with only analog output?
I was looking to buy a DVD changer, but now going to wait for the new single disc models to come out.

I'm using a Pioneer 498 receiver with Kef "Coda 7" speakers as my mains (for now).
