Bought it the same time I purchased a JVC 801 receiver,do not use the receiver any longer ,but still have the CD player.Its nothing fancy,does what its supposed to do...plays CD's,and does it well

This CD player has given me over a year of enjoyment with no trouble whatsoever. Occasionally the door will open when you turn the power on but that is the extent of the problems. I had thoughts of buying an HK cd player to match my receiver but after reading the reviews I decided against it. This unit sounds good, the build quality is good, and it is inexpensive. This is the model that does not have a remote, but I don't use one anyway. Both of the JVC 5 cd changers are good values. Happy listening!
