cant turn it on or off with remote

This CD player sounds fantastic. You dont think youre gonna hear a differance with HDCD but you absolutely do! It is hard to belive that you can get this CD player for around $250.00. I ordered mine from Sound Distributors.com and am very impressed with the CD player and the SD.com service.
I dont know the reason the remote does not have a power button but who really cares when your CD player sounds like this one!

Minor one which is inability to turn player on or off via the remote

This player is a great match for my Vandersteen 5's and Bryston equipment. I was immediately impressed with how warm and musical this player sounds, yet retaining its level of musical refinement. HDCD does make a difference as well. It would seem that most or all HDCD's are recorded or remastered correctly and laboriously, as I can hear and discern a difference between most conventional CD's and HDCD's. Denon has done it again!
