Strength:

Smoothness, accurate, musical, analog sound, detail & system friendly

Weakness:

None for me! Just be prepared to be patient for a long run in.

I’ve been using the PGS ( purchased during an auction at Audiogon ) from dac to pre for a year now and among all the ic’s I’ve tried, it is the one I like the most! Previously I had 3 Siltech cables, models 4/56, 4/56 mk II and the 4/56 G3! Even tried other cables from Purist Audio, MIT, Transparent, Wireworld etc but in the end, I settled for the PGS! The PGS took about a month to start showing it’s stuff and when it did, I was delighted! It was smooth, soft and sweet, not too laid back or too forward but just nice and had good soundstage in it’s width, height and depth! The upper mids and highs were never bright instead were extended and detailed! The surprising thing was the bass and midbass performance! I didn’t expect much here but to my surprise, these 2 areas were deep, bodied and had energy and authority and always in control. I did try the PGS on some of my friends systems both solid state and tube and the PGS was constant in it’s performance making it a system friendly cable! After a year, I still have it with me on the source side and I’ve not had any second thoughts of changing it! BTW, mine comes with the Neutrik rca connectors.

It was an afternoon when my friend handed me the Stealth cables. I have been using nice brand name cables such as Magnan Vi, Cardas golden cross, Kimber KCAG/KCTG, Kimber Select 1030 and all of them are very nice. The 1030 in perticular is very very good and so I was settled for a while until that afternoon..... read on! The first Stealth cable I plug in is the silver ribbon interconnect (forgot the model name). Very flexible but not really "big-buck" looking. The first note came out was a big shock to me. Very coherence, colorless and fast. I was amazed but not totally blew away yet but 1030 still won out with better texture. But that Stealth cable cost only 1/5 of 1030. I then become very interested in Stealth cables and started some research. Finally I got some PGS which was claimed to be the best (sorry, gotta try the best one or I''''ll keep on thinking about moving UP!). I cooked it for 3 weeks before my first serious listening session. PGS is very smooth, with fantastic coherence and inner detail. All the details are presented in a complete and full envelope without any hint of edginess. Great authority and articulation on bass. It replaced my 1030 and that''''s quite some achievement. With PGS, I no longer listen to "signals" but full musicality! Great stuff!

Strength:

Very high performance, transcends all other copper or silver cables.

Weakness:

Expensive. But still much cheaper than Kimber XL, Nordost Vahalla, Silver Smith (all beaten by Stealth).

The PGS is the first cable that relaxes me into the music. It organizes the music in an ''''organic'''' way. This is not a cable that sounds spectacular in the first 5 minutes, but in a few weeks, it will grow on you. Music just becomes much more engaging, and the frequency bands are seamlessly integrated. Refinement, music, soul, flow, inner detail, air, and bloom would be the adjectives.
