Strength:

Clarity; crisp highs;weighted bass;great midrange. Very musical. Used on DAC to pre-amp.

Weakness:

Tends to be very bright if you do no choose the proper cables for your eqpt (digital cable, interconnect from pre-amp to power amp and speaker cables.

Try to look for a used pair. I understand that a new pair costs $$$$. Have been trying out the other cables but none sounds as musical as the Siltech SG 56. Either the highs are not so distinct, or don't sound musical at all.
When I got a used pair to use on my DAC to pre-amp, the transformation was immediate. You could hear attack from the bass and the instruments sounds clear and crisp. Extensions were great.
