Strength:

Very tight bass

I read about the M351 on this site. They got great reviews from everybody, so I thought I'd give them a try. I am continually blown away by how tight and realistic they are. I've recommened them to several of my friends and they've improved their systems too.

I was going to "upgrade" my subwoofer before trying the M351. Now I love my same old subwoofer because it's no longer "mushy" sounding.

They do a nice job on the Vertical Limit DVD!!!

Strength:

Clean signal transfer allowing for excellant sub control

Weakness:

none

I had no idea that cable could make such a big difference in sound. I had always been told that "cable is just cable" ect. It is not! I have a Velodyne sub, and allowng with the speakers was never very happy with the sound. Bass was muddy and the frequency response was not uniform. Most of the time there was a real prononced spike at 6 Hz and not much else. I bought the 2.5 meter length and "WOW"! I actually have articulated bass down to the sub's limits (around 25 Hz). The response is solid and controlled with NO spikes or dips in the frequency response. (I used my SPL meter to check.) We won't discuss what the rest of my system is cabled with, suffice to say I am in the process of recabling my entire system with MCX-2s cables. (I think they're great! - especially for an audiophile like myself on a Millwaukee's Best beer budget). I'd say that for the price this cable is a real bargin and worth every penny spent. You will never catch yourself going "OOPS, I should have gotten (insert brand and model here) !"
